The Book of Ezekiel: Ch 25, 8-11
Ezekiel 25:8-11 (KJV)
“8 Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; 9 Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations. 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
No one is inaccessible when God wants to bring judgement, and no one is out of His reach. If you want to talk about someone who can bring about cancel culture, God can do that. We are a sinful nation, yet God still has his hand of protection and mercy over us. We are no better than the nations God has already brought judgement upon and only He keeps us from destruction.
God brings judgement to remind people that He is God, not out of anger or lack of mercy. He wants to shake those who do not follow Him out of their disbelief. We are living in a nation that does not recognize God as Jehovah, but regardless of belief every nation and human will answer to God.
As for Christians, we must stay connected to God. We might get caught up in life and our struggles as a nation, but nations come, and nations go. It is our responsibility to stay connected to God and stand up against the world and its ways. We are not meant to assimilate into it, but we are meant to stand apart. Be prayed up. Stop trying to figure out tomorrow and focus on the knowledge you have that God is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
