Ezekiel Ch. 18, Part 1

Responsibility & Accountability

From the Jews in Babylon to modern times people have blamed their troubles on others.  Making excuses for how you live and pointing at family or even God for your troubles removes your own personal responsibility and accountability for your own sin. True repentance is taking responsibility for your actions.  This means beginning a new walk and a new direction for your life, not continuing on the same path. This also means understanding that salvation only comes from that repentance and not through deeds.
