End of All Things: Sermon 3

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Isaiah 60:1-3

Despite the darkness in the world, Jesus is and will always remain the light of the world. God is still in the saving business, despite the depravity of the culture. Even if you can’t see it, God is still working. It might seem like the church is unredeemable.  It might seem like we are losing the next generation, but do not be mistaken God works best when we are in a mess!

What do we do in this darkest hour?

Be a testimony. Read the Bible. Share the gospel. Pray. Remember that the darker the night, the greater the Light.
