Are You Mad Yet?
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. -Revelation 11:18
We live in a culture where anger has taken on a new dimension. Anger in itself is not a sin, it is a human emotion given to us by God, but the actions that we take in anger can lead to sin. Not only that, but it can damage your Christian witness.
Anger is an attribute of God. You are not forbidden from anger. You are not expected to be perfect, but you should deal with anger in a way that does not hurt you or others. Like Jesus clearing the temple, you need to be angry enough about what is going on around you or in your own family to take action and bring about change.
